ERASMUS+ studies - deadlines
Applications have to be handed in at the beginning of the new year for the following academic year.
There is only one deadline for going abroad - no matter if winter or summer semester.
Hand in the documents in person in 50/E03
Deadline for the academic year 2025/26 will be announed around Oct 2024
Office hours: Wed and Thu between 9 and 11 a.m.
There is no need to wait for this deadline, applications can be handed in before.

What happens after nomination?
Thesis with ERASMUS+ abroad
Studies:
The necessity of the final thesis must result from the topic of the work in a comprehensible manner. In addition, one of the two reviewers must be from the host university. As the thesies does not have a scope of 24 - 30 ECTS, additional courses at the host university should be taken.
Before you plan your bachelor thesis abroad, please talk to our Dean of Studies to make sure you take all necessary steps.
Internship:
It should be a full-time internship of 30 - 40 hours per week.
Can you do a semester abroad with ERASMUS+ after submitting your bachelor thesis?
This is theoretically possible, but students must be enrolled at Osnabrück university for the entire duration of the semester abroad. In addition, 24 - 30 ECTS must be completed in the semester abroad, even if these are no longer required for the degree.
